Search and browse the Steam game database

How to search, sort, filter, and read game detail pages in the GMC browser app.

Game Market Copilot’s Steam module lets you search across the tracked game catalog and drill into a single title’s detail page, all from the browser at /steam.

Searching and browsing

A search box at the top of /steam matches on title. Alongside it, preset chips switch between common views without opening the filter modal: All, Trending, New Releases, and Upcoming.

Sorting and paging

The results table sorts by Title, Reviews, Rating, Price, or Release date. Page size can be set to 10, 25, 50, or 100 rows per page.

Coverage badges

Each row carries a coverage badge, full, partial, or basic, that shows how much analytics data GMC has collected for that title. A basic badge means only core metadata is available; a full badge means all detail-page sections have data behind them.

Custom filters

Opening the filter modal exposes finer controls: a release date range; status (all, released, upcoming, or early access, based on the title’s Steam release phase); minimum and maximum review count; minimum and maximum rating; minimum and maximum price; and tags, which can be combined with AND or OR logic.

Saved filters

Saving a filter behaves differently depending on whether you are signed in. Signed-in saves persist on the server and follow you across devices and sessions. Signed-out saves stay in your browser’s local storage, so they will not appear on another device and can be lost if you clear site data.

Game detail page

Each title has a detail page at /steam/{appid} with up to six tabs: Overview, Audience, Review Insights, Marketing Timeline, Visibility, and Success Report. Success Report only appears once a report has been generated for that title.

Sections still being collected

If GMC has not yet gathered a section’s underlying data for a title, that section shows a “collecting” card instead of empty analytics. From there you can flag the section as a priority; requests are recorded and inform how collection is prioritized, but they do not trigger immediate collection.

Plan-gated analytics

Full analytics across these tabs require a Starter plan or higher. Sections outside your current plan show which plan unlocks them, so you know what you’re missing without leaving the page. See /plans for plan details.

Non-English pages

Detail pages auto-translate for non-English locales. A status banner on the page indicates when a translation is in use.

Adding a game to a list

An add-to-list control on the detail page adds the game to one of your game lists for later reference. See Game lists for how lists work.
